This quaint, traditional country pub is now operated by Brampton Brewery and serves their own cask ales alongside other regional breweries. Warm up next to the log fire on winter days or outside there is a paved drinking area ideal for warm summer evenings. Traditional locals' pub unspoilt by progress, with a mixed clientele where all are welcome, including dogs and walkers (but take your boots off before going in). Chesterfield CAMRA autumn pub of the season and finalist of the Chesterfield and District pub of the year 2024.
