This Pub is Permanently Closed

A traditional pub owned by Wadworth brewery dating from the 1600s on the edge of the main shopping area. The small lounge retains a cosy and homely atmosphere, while the lower public bar is more sports oriented, with pool and darts. A third, smaller area separates the two, and there is a compact patio outside. Live music and folk evenings are held regularly. The pub sign depicting the Lamb refers to the Knights Templar.

Pub permanently closed in Dec 2014 and was converted into the canteen for Be Wiser Insurance.
