The Lakeside Golf Club has undergone major changes in recent years including selling the clubhouse, which is now the award winning Grand Sultan Indian Restaurant.

There is still an active golf course, which has reduced from an 18-hole to a 9-hole course and a small white golfing shop is open in the car park, but there are no other facilities available.
