The Knighton is a combination of two buildings, a sixteenth century coaching inn and an adjoining Victorian stone built manor house. The hotel is comprised of restaurant, carvery, lounge bar, sports bar, and two function rooms. The main part was built by Sir Richard Green-Price, MP for Radnorshire, in 1867. It was closed for four years in the 1990s and again in 2004/5. It is the premier venue for conferences and celebrations in Knighton.
Since April 2018, CLOSED.
Historic Interest
There is an impressive galleried central staircase within the atrium at the centre of the former manor house.
