Traditional English seaside inn, overlooking Deal seafront.
Dating back nearly 400 years, this historic pub is a local favorite and a popular spot for visitors. It's well known for its spectacular floral displays that cascade over the building during the summer months.
Situated on Deal's seafront, it offers spectacular views across The Channel. Its seafront terrace, Beach Square, offers panoramic views of the sea and Deal Pier.
Inside, the dark wood panels, subdued lighting and carpeted floors provide a relaxed and comfortable place to enjoy a drink or a meal. There is a large central bar with ample seating, while a quiet corner provides a retreat from the pub's hubbub. The walls are adorned with an impressive collection of cricket and golf memorabilia.
Cask ales from Shepherd Neame include their seasonal specials.
A wide range of traditional pub food is served, includes burgers, sandwiches and jacket potatoes.
In the summer months, the pub co-hosts weekly concerts on Beach Square, adding to lively atmosphere along the seafront. There is plenty of off-street public parking nearby.
