This grade II listed pub dating from the C17 is friendly two bar town centre pub with oak beams throughout. To the rear the pub has a large terraced garden, where BBQs are occasionally held. New licensees since July 2023 offer a lovely community pub. The function room is now a venue for live music, comedy, films and more, with details on Facebook. There are four handpumps serving two regular beers, Black Sheep Best and Ringwood 49er, there is also a rotating guest. The licensees are focusing on providing a pub with a lovely community feel and a well-kept cellar.
