A 16th century Inn. It has an unforgettable country and farmhouse interior with an amazing amount of bric-a-brac and swinging tables suspended from the ceiling by chains. Although mostly given over to diners, drinkers are also welcome. There is a small garden in front and a larger one to the rear.
Despite being free of tie the four hand pumps tend to offer nationally recognisable ales.
There are four en-suite rooms in a separate, modern accommodation block. Functions can be arranged in the dining area.
New management took over in March 2020 and refurbished the pub.
This Pub serves 4 changing beers and 0 regular beers.
