Reopened on 22nd August 2025 after a full top-to-bottom refurb, this historic village pub is now a showcase for Bradfield Brewery at its best. Once a traditional three room local, it now blends character features with a fresh, welcoming feel. Think wood half-panelling, leather seating, and a glowing coal fireplace. The original Tennant Brothers etched windows, complete with colourful crests, remain a standout feature.
A cosy stone-booth room offers an atmospheric dining spot, while the main bar and adjacent drinking room provide plenty of space for relaxed eating and sociable drinking. Outside, you’ll find front and rear drinking areas, with the back terrace overlooking a sloping grassed area that’s perfect for sunny pints.
Six Bradfield house cask ales are served, Farmers Blonde, Yorkshire Farmer, Farmers Blonde Extra, Farmers Pale Ale, Farmers Brown Cow and Farmers Stout plus two rotating seasonal brews to keep things interesting.
A beautifully refurbished pub with genuine character, great beer, and room for everyone.
