Micropub and taproom serving local ciders and six ales was opened in 2018 by Blythe Brewery. It was taken over in November 2024 by new landlords. The convivial atmosphere remains and Blythe Brewery beers are available along with beers from local microbreweries. The front entrance is shared with the adjacent hairdressing business.
The large single room features an unusual slate-topped and metal-fronted bar counter, some cinema-style folding seating and plenty of tables.
There is no pub car park, but there is some limited parking on Hillfield Lane and a small public car park off The Green nearby (~100m).
Historic Interest
Reportedly a Co-op store initially, then a video rental shop, and later a hairdresser’s.
This Pub serves 6 changing beers (Usually two from Blythe, the rest mainly from other local microbreweries.) and 0 regular beers.
