Large friendly two-roomed local pub, built in 1934, popular with visiting football fans (Burton Albion's Pirelli Stadium is about 650m to south). Basic but tidy public bar is at the front and a smart lounge behind. Large beer garden at the back with a play area.

Filled cobs and pork pies are available. Disco or karaoke is on a Saturday evening once a month. 400yds from Trent & Mersey Canal and camping is available in the garden.
