An interesting local at the southern end of Moneyrow Green. The pub was built as a private station on a railway line to take Queen Victoria to Ascot races. Although the resting stations were built the line was not, because Prince Albert died. A two room pub with the bar in the main room, which has two alcoves that resemble large inglenook fireplaces. These were apparently used to store coal. Food is served only at weekends Fri 6.30-9.30pm, Sat 12-2 & 6.30-9.30pm & Sunday roast 12-3pm. The sports TV is a non Sky service.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 2 regular beers.
