The Ivanhoe, an impressive building, stands proudly at the village crossroads and this is a wonderful spot to enjoy a drink in the large beer garden, overlooking the village cricket pitch, whilst appreciating what can only be described as an idyllic setting. Inside, there is a large lounge and separate public bar (complete with snooker table). There is one real ale available – Samuel Smith’s Old Brewery Bitter – always in good condition. Fresh food served daily with a popular quiz night Tuesday
