A hidden gem in a valley on the edge of Exmoor, this large family-run Swiss style Country Inn, rebuilt in 1897, is particularly popular with walkers. The freehold is owned by the National Trust. Under new management from May 2025 offering a warm welcome nestled here in the heart of Heddon Valley, right on the South West Coast Path. Muddy boots and wagging tails are always welcome! In addition to the accommodation, there is a separate self-contained, self-catered lodge located on the grounds of the pub.
