This Pub is Permanently Closed

Designed by Col. S H Fisher FRIBA and built by W S Try of Uxbridge for Watney Mann, opened on 13 October 1959. This roadhouse catered almost exclusively for the local residents and mostly the younger variety at that. A disco called "The Avenue", run separately from the pub was adjacent .Closed c.2003 becoming a McDonald's.
