Local CAMRA Pub of the Year for four consecutive years. Also achieved a position in the top four of the 2023 National Cider Pub of the Year competition.

Situated in the former Singers Sewing Centre in the heart of the city, this family-owned micropub offers an ever changing selection of six cask and four keg beers from both local brewers and others not normally seen in the area. Vegan and gluten-free offerings are usually available. Beers are complemented by boxed ciders, selected spirits and non-alcoholic drinks. Bottled and canned beers are also available to drink in or take out together with 2-pint growlers for take home drinks. Krombacher Weizen and Dark Lager are permanently on tap, plus a gluten-free lager offering from Shiny Brewery.

Food is not served but a wide selection of crisps and snacks are available. Drinkers are welcome to bring their own food in.
