This Pub is Permanently Closed
Reopened after a large refurbishment resulting in somewhat strange decor, something like a cross between a front room and a cocktail lounge. A white grand piano in front of black and gold patterned wallpaper and on over-sized chandelier hanging from the ceiling. In 2013 re-branded itself as Hoot N' Annies with a vague 'southern USA' style, similar-ish to the Blues Kitchen. Food is promised. There were two handpumps, but these have now been removed (May 2014). Live music. Previously Annies, before that Auntie Annies Porter House and originally The Wolsey Tavern. Real ale intermittent
