The only pub in the village, serving the local community with a comfortable place to meet over a drink or dining-out. The separate dining area serves home-cooked food, sourced from local producers. The drinking area is split into two bars separated by a narrow arch. There is a well kept garden at the back of the pub for the use of drinkers.

The pub has its own darts and cribbage teams. On Sunday evening there is a quiz and curry night.
