This is an other drinking establishment and you may be charged for entrance at certain times.

Now private accommodation.

This extensively modernised old Georgian house has a nautical theme, with the flooring a special feature. It shows the bay around Ilfracombe in pictorial form, with local landmarks and shipwrecks plotted, together with an impressive pub logo shown in an image of a compass. Outside there is a pleasant beer garden in front of the pub. Only 50 yards from Ilfracombe bus terminus. Now using the rebrand The Hip @ No.8 and changed to a food venue with NO real ale on sale.
