Situated on the harbour with 2 bars, 2 restaurants and outside seating (over-looking the harbour), it has been in existence for about 300 years. Notable guests - Admiral Lord Nelson and Prince Albert who went on to become Edward VII from whom it is believed the 'Royal' came into the name. Hotel has been totally refurbished over the last five years, ( being a listed building caused the long period of repair). It is now well appointed & serves good food ( traditional & Asian).
This Pub serves no changing beers and 1 regular beer.
