"A deal has been secured for a dance academy to use a Leicester city centre theatre as a teaching base until 2034."

The Haymarket Theatre was in liquidation in May 2020, and the premises are closed.

Built in 1972, the Haymarket Theatre closed in 2007, but reopened in 2018. CAMRA's Leicester Beer Festival was one of the first events to be staged on reopening, and was held here between 2018 and 2020. The theatre has its own bars on two levels.
