This Pub is Permanently Closed

Renamed the Pump in 1975 after being the Black Raven. Training pub for prospective Whitbread tenants with frequent turnover of staff after 'training'. Comfortable but crowded with city workers. Upstairs wine bar also doubling as food bar. Closes at 9pm or earlier, not open at weekends.
