Backstreet corner pub owned and operated by local artist Mason Newman. Extensively refurbished in 2025, this Regency period, Grade II-listed pub is in the historic Gun Quarter.
Not far from Snow Hill railway station and the city's Jewellery Quarter, this formerly traditional pub has taken on a new life since being bought by a local artist and refurbished to match his vibrant style. Possibly the only pub in Britain to have leopard print carpet!
A single, L-shaped bar greets visitors, where up to three cask beers are served on handpumps at the far end. Beers from local breweries Attic and Green Duck are augmented by offerings from regional and national brewers. Keg beers are the usual suspects from global brewers. The main bar has plenty of seating, having clearly been opened up from segmented rooms in a previous life. To the left of the main bar is a small room used for displaying art, while at the rear, through another door and down some steps is a performance space for live music.
The pub was formerly the tap house of Two Towers Brewery, which was located at the rear, but is sadly no longer brewing.
This Pub serves 2 changing beers and 0 regular beers.
