Popular Bass pub unobtrusively refurbished. Darts. Patio drinking area. Built in 1868 as 'The Britannia'it is worth trying to spot the mistake in the mirror adverts behind the bar which are in any case good examples of this type of advertising. (JH). Outside drinking area.

Erected in 1868 and originally called Britannia. Renamed in 1870 after the road in which it is situated.
