This Pub is Permanently Closed
The Greyhound was a street corner local on the edge of the town centre that traded from 1841 until 1971. The photographs, courtesy of www.dover-kent.com, indicate that the pub was successively part of the Russell's and Truman's tied estates.
The pub fell victim to a large scale redevelopment in this area of the town, and the site is now occupied by housing.
