Dating from 1901, this city centre pub is within the Bishopwearmouth Conservation Area. Located in a pedestrianised area close to the Sunderland Empire There are several large screen TV's iNote the copper domes at the top of the frontage of this grade ii listed building . Sold by Black Rose to Punch in April 2024. Had a makeover in October 2025 and now trading as Greens Tavern and owned by Unity Social Pub Company.
