This Pub is Closed Long Term
This magnificent 16th century building was first used as a pub in the 18th century. In 1737 the landlord was arrested for holding goods stolen by Dick Turpin. Currently the Waterside bar offers three guest ales and three guest ciders. Upstairs is a restaurant and function room. The pub is in a central location, close to the bus and train stations. Families welcome. Occasional live music at weekends.
