This Pub is Permanently Closed

A traditional old pub with a reputation for being part of the local music scene. Two bars, public to the left, lounge to the right and an impressive function room at the rear. There is also a dedicated games room. Taken into private ownership from Admiral Taverns in March 2014. An entry in the early days of the Good Beer Guide in 1976, with a further 12 appearances in the following 20 years. It was owned at one stage by the Border Brewery of Wrexham.
