This Pub is Closed Long Term
The Golden Fleece is a remarkable survivor in an era of pub closures. Housed in the Blissbury charity building of 1818, it is still a "wet only" local in a small fenland village long bypassed by the A17. The original entrance porch leads to an open interior, formerly two or three separate rooms. The pool table is housed away from the main drinking area. Two Gaskell and Chambers handpumps from 1900 grace the counter.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 1 regular beer.
