Striking a balance between village local and dining pub, the large, contemporary style main bar includes a games area with pool, darts and quoits. An upstairs restaurant serves a good selection of traditional and modern cuisine, specialising in local steaks. These meals plus snacks are also served in the bar. The guest beers are from local breweries. Live music features on Friday evenings and the pub supports one darts team and two pool teams. Full disabled toilets and baby changing facilities. Fortnightly quiz on a Sunday.
