Run by a friendly team this traditional dog friendly pub is a short walk from The Triangle and is a CAMRA award winning pub that offers eleven quality hand pumps serving mostly Butcombe and Liberation ales, ciders and other libations. With chef-created weekly menus you can be assured of a great meal or traditional bar snack. It has a range of music and entertainment at nights as well as a covered courtyard and function room. Under-18s are not admitted.

The left hand part with the Green tiled frontage is the former Pembroke Arms and is Grade II Listed. Historic England list entry 1140116
