A hotel with bar and restaurant open to non-residents.

Harbourside hotel in centre of village. Refurbished 2023 with small lounge bar, where sports are sometimes shown and award-winning two AA rosette restaurant. Tremendous views. Key holder for the neighbouring Scalloway castle - listed ancient monument.

The Scalloway Museum is close by, providing an interesting insight into life in the village through the ages.

Both loch and sea fishing can be arranged, and both 9-hole and 18-hole golf courses can be found within three miles of the village: Shetland Golf Club / Asta Golf Club.
