Parts of the building date back to 1740, including the "squinty" entrance door.
It was in the same family for 100's of years, and sold by the Grant family in 1985.
Watch out for the stags head "Angus", guardian of the bar, who has been overseeing all that goes on for at least a century.
On the doorstep is Loch Ness, with the possibility of "Nessie Spotting", and handy for walkers and cyclists travelling along the Great Glen Way.
With immediate links to Inverness, Fort William and Skye a great place to stay, or stop off en route.
