As the first-ever pub associated with the legendary Arsenal Football Club, The George has witnessed countless historic moments in the club’s storied past. Located just a 3-minute walk from the Emirates Stadium, it’s the perfect spot for fans to gather before or after the match to relive the excitement of every goal and victory.

In addition to our great atmosphere, we also proudly broadcast all Sky Sports and European matches, ensuring that every game is just a seat away. And if you’re visiting during the week, don’t miss our delicious Napoli pizza service – served fresh and hot, perfect for pairing with your drink while enjoying the match."

The George was closed in boarded in 2018 after the tenants left. It finally reopened in summer 2022 as the Stag. Medium-sized U-shaped interior dominated by open horseshoe bar witj a more modern decor, with a white ceiling, turquoise walls, clear windows on two sides, two plain cast-iron columns, bare floorboards.
