Welcoming Yorkshire Wolds pub popular with locals and also walkers attracted to nearby Millington Woods and Pastures. The bar has many idiosyncratic features, including an old Yorkshire map on the ceiling. Wood-burning stoves provide warmth in winter while a large beer garden with a covered area is popular in warmer weather. Hearty, home-made food is served from an extensive menu, which includes Fish Fridays. Quiz night is every other Wednesday. A beer festival is held in July. Guest cask beers, usually from Yorkshire.
