This Pub is Permanently Closed
The Fruiterers Arms was a pleasant local on the edge of the village, trading from 1860 until its death in 2012. Known locally as the Mudhole, the older picture suggests that it was part of the tied estate of Dartford brewers C N Kidd & Son Ltd, so would have passed to Courage when the latter appropriated the former in 1937.
The pub was demolished shortly after closure and needless to say the site is now occupied by housing.
