Traditional village pub.
A traditional village pub, with wooden beams and carpeted floor, offers a warm welcome to locals and visitors alike. The pub is extensively decorated with local photos and a wide range of fox-related photos and ornaments.
A good range of styles and strengths of real ales are on offer, which can be enjoyed in the main bar, one of the smaller rooms or in the sun-trap garden.
There's an extensive menu featuring traditional dishes, pizzas and panini. On Wednesday, Friday and Saturday there's a pop-up smashed burger van.
A variety of events, quiz nights, curry nights and occasional music evenings keep the pub busy. During summer months occasional beer events are held in the garden.
Outside there is an attractive stream-side garden with skittle alley.
The pub is situated a short walk from Kearsney Abbey gardens and public transport services.
