This Pub is Closed Long Term
Closed, see below, was going to be turned into housing but now sold on to a local 'business lady' who intends to reopen it as a pub at some point.
Closed, in theory for refurbishment, late '17, but no sign of work or reopening.
Handsome low-beamed eighteenth century food-orientated roadside pub with large car park. There are three areas, each with their own fireplaces. The two areas nearest the bar share a flagstone floor whilst the slightly raised area away from the bar has oak floorboards. Good value meals are made mainly from locally sourced ingredients. There is a lunchtime set-meal deal. Children are welcome and there is a special area for dogs. Beer garden with chickens to rear. Please note that this pub is closed on Mondays.
