This Pub is Permanently Closed

A old rural pub on commonland away from the main road, the Four Elms nevertheless won many trophies for cards and darts in the 1970s and 80s. It was a Watney pub, but was selling real ale shortly after that brewery rediscovered it in the early 1980s. It closed around 1997 and has since been converted into a house.
