An 1807 pub tastefully restored by Ossett Brewery, decorated in a charming rustic style with an impressive tile flowerpot as the centrepiece. There are four separate drinking areas and real fires. There is a terrace and a fine riverside beer garden, great for warm summer days. Eight ales are offered from Ossett's five breweries and independents, usually including a mild or stout, plus often a real cider. Easy walking to Mirfield town centre and 203 bus or access to the Brighouse to Mirfield canal walk. Last orders are 30 minutes before closing time.
