Situated in the middle of the village this 150 year old public house offers four cask beers in a large spacious bar area split over two levels. Its previous usage as a blacksmiths is demonstrated by the old tools on display in the area which housed the smithy and features a Victorian tiled floor. The function room has a beautiful carved panelled fire surround.
Their reputation for quality locally sourced food means that booking at busy times is recommended. Three house beers from Yorkshire Brewhouse, pale, bitter and dark.
