16th-century partially-thatched traditional pub retaining many original features such as an inglenook fireplace, oak beams and flagstone floors.

Regular and seasonal ales are from Wadworth brewery, with one regular beer from a changinbg brewery. Freshly prepared meals include pub classics, unusual creations, daily specials and sweets. Gluten-free meals are available.

Live music at weekends (see Facebook) and the monthly charity quiz supports local charities.
