Fade is described as a continental café bar serving continental lagers, local real ales, wines, spirits, fresh fruit juices, alongside freshly-made coffees and herbal teas. There is a varied selection of food on offer including seasonal and vegetarian specials, Sunday roasts, all day breakfasts & cakes. A cosy bar area at the Mansfield Road side opens out into a bright conservatory area in the middle of the building, and then on to two 'Bistro Rooms', which can be reserved for parties or functions.

Closed in early 2016, and is now a restaurant.
