This Pub is Closed Long Term
Friendly pub dating from 1450 renovated by a real ale enthusiast. Previously called the King's Head, closed in 1998, following a seven year planning battle and support from villagers and CAMRA, it was reopened with a new name and sign that commemorates the window sundial on the church opposite. The building was extended in 2006 providing a modern kitchen, restaurant and an additional tasteful bar. The a la carte menu food is freshly cooked with seasonally available local ingredients.
