This Pub is Permanently Closed

A quiet pub at lunch time, but busy with locals in the evenings. Formerly an M&B (Bass Breweries) pub, this was sold to pub owning chain Centric in the summer of 1994. In the spring of 1996 Centric was bought by the Sailsbury brewer Gibbs Mew. Redecorated, interanally and externally in 1997. Gibbs Mew sold out to Enterprise Inns early 1998. Closed to be converted into dwellings (1/1/17).
