Former Tolly Cobbold pub built in the late 1950s (opened by Lord Tollemache in November 1959) when it was known as the Weathervane. Subsequently renamed the Master Mariner before becoming the Med "Mediterranean Bar & Grill" in 2010. One time home of Turpins microbrewery, which later moved to larger premises in Pampisford.
In 2019 it underwent renovations reopening in August as the Dumpling Tree Chinese restaurant and pub. Two handpumps, but real ale is only sporadically available. The bar opening hours are different (from noon) from the pub's food available hours. Food is also available via Uber Eats.
