Reopened on Tuesday 29 September 2026 with a change of name to the Duck. The website is under construction, it has a new Facebook (hashtag to follow) and Instagram.
Modern feel with normal height tables seating two or four people, one table seating eight people and a few midi-height tables seating two or three people. Lots of duck references in the names of the cocktails and spritzes.
The food options will be available from 5 October 2026.

Pub and restaurant re-opened with the new name of the Duke on Wednesday 8 January 2025 offering real ale, craft beers and food.
Closed as the Beer Tree in October 2013. Converted to a Mexican restaurant - Pachangas - opened Apr 2014, closed in 2023.
