A lively local community pub with a contemporary feel at Llanfaes, on the edge of town. Reopened in February 2024 under new management after an extended closure. The central bar faces out into the main room, with a TV showing popular sporting events. A small room to one end of the bar has its own servery. A secluded patio garden is behind the pub, offering alfresco drinking. Usually two or three ales, often from Grey Trees and Wye Valley. Food is served, including Sunday lunches, booking required.
