Popular with the local CAMRA members, this lively Georgian Inn, perched beside a busy road, was purchased by the Selby family in 1990, and who have made many friends by successfully keeping it open and viable since. This lovely freehouse features low-beamed ceilings, a convivial lounge with wood-burner, a pub games dominated public bar and a popular skittle alley; decorated with horse brasses and brewery pictures. Fresh flowers grace the immaculate toilets. Sunny outside seating is popular with local dog walkers. They host an annual beer festival in the small car park at the front.
