This Pub is Closed Long Term

Originally opened as a newly built hotel in May 1900. It was later extended in 1962 adding 14 more bedrooms and a function suite. In 2002 it was leased to Swallow Hotels for 35 years. In May 2006 the hotel was bought by a Jewish charity, but by November that year, Swallow Hotels had gone into administration and the hotel closed. It has ain empty and derelict ever since.
