Historic Interest

West Cheshire Brewery had a license on this site dating back to at least 1901 when it was described as a Beerhouse but later records show it as an off licensee. The photo taken about 2013 shows the business claimed to be established in 1860. It was reported to be an operating off license into the mid 1990s and dispensed draught beer to take out, possibly Thwaites. Now residential property.
